Breathe – A Poem

20121215-211320.jpg

A cool breeze sweeps over me,

I close my eyes and

Soak in the wholeness of

This calming sense of relief,

This must be what

It feels like to feel free.

Free from toxic anxiety,

Free from insecurities and

Absolutely everything.

And just for a fleeting moment-

I have a clearer understanding,

Of how to ground myself-

Even when my world is spinning-

And just

Breathe.
