Best Endeavors to 2013

Sometimes real friends are hard to find and sometimes they are staring you right in the face.

Sometimes you can’t see them because you’re focused too hard on impressing or changing for someone beside or beyond them and take the real friend for granted.

Hard to tell which is which or which is a (insert word that rhymes with “which”) ? If they tell you “Best Endeavors”- that’s how. Or maybe something less specific for you but it’s a pretty good indicator that you’ve sported a fake friend all along, unless of course your friend is an attorney writing a legal contract- but even then that’s pretty sketchy IMO.

What do we do when we realize we have taken the real friend for granted and focused on the other? We let go. We cry. We apologize to the real friend and then overselves. And…ready? READY? We move on. 🙂

So let’s start the New Year right!

Remember folks:

“Be nice. Not just B.E. nice”
